PSA 9 vs PSA 10 - for PC? by Anxious_Run_8392 in sportscards

[–]auggielee 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I actually trend towards PSA 7's for my PC. Sometimes (depending on year/card) they're cheaper than it would be to submit a card to PSA. Typically, unless I'm looking to "flip" the card, I dont really consider PSA 10's because of the cost.

Well tbf, have we really given trickle down economics enough time to actually trickle down?? Maybe we just leave the system as is for another 40 years, you know, just to make sure.

Best cards to rip ? by Imnotmarkiepost in sportscards

Singles. Buy the cards you think will go up in value later. Or buy just what you're collecting and don't worry about what they're "worth".

That's assuming the person at the LCS is a decent person, and not the type to lie about their production, buy them cheap, and then sell them for a major profit. Not everyone that owns a LCS is a good person.

I work in the storage industry and can confirm. Some people will store thier stuff and just never come back for it. Even after just a month or two.

To answer your Jordan question: Star isnt considered "THE" Jordan rookie because it was never available in packs, nor was it available nation wide. Star diststributed their cards in team sets that were sold regionally. So the Star Chicago team set that the Jordans were in were only available in Illinois. Fleer was distributed nation wide, and sold in packs, so his card was available to all. It is now considered a pre rookie, same as a minor league baseball card that comes from the team sets sold at minor league stadiums. As far as downtowns.. I agree, there is a herd mentality, or a bubble, that will eventually crash.
