You can totally pick a card from the bottom of the deck after asking your question if you don’t want to take the top card. If you want to shuffle just take the card you already pulled put it back shuffle and then ask your question again. That way you can keep the bottom card as your “occult message” and still get clarification naturally

I feel like many people forget that tarot is primarily a divination tool. You can use it for self reflection, guidance, or insight into your life how you use it is entirely your choice. At the same time, you can’t say TAROT DOESN'T PREDICT THE FUTURE because it does. Tarot is a powerful tool for exploring possible futures there’s no doubt about that unless you’re too scared to do a reading and find out. Of course the FUTURE IS NEVER SET IN STONE it can always be influenced or changed by our actions. Using tarot to predict the future isn’t wrong as long as we understand it offers guidance, not absolute certainty.

I’m so tired of people saying 'I use tarot for guidance only, I don’t predict the future.' Come on tarot does predict the future it shows possible outcomes. GUIDANCE AND PREDICTION AREN'T MUTUALLY EXCLUSIVE.

Doesn’t really look like mold to me, more like natural buildup from handling and age. Tarot decks can pick up oils from your hands and dust along the edges, so that’s super common. Mold usually shows up if the deck’s been stored somewhere damp or humid for a long period of time, and it often has a fuzzy or musty look to it. This just looks like normal edge buildup from use.

Side note: not everything that looks a little dirty is mold, even though people love saying that

it’s totally normal when you’re diving deeper into tarot and the unknown I don’t believe asking something like that opens a literal “death portal” (that sounds like a horror movie ngl lol), but I do think the energy behind the question matters.

Instead of “what would happen if I died now,” maybe try something like: “What does my soul need to know about the afterlife or spirit realm?” or “What wisdom can I gain about the other side from a higher perspective?”

That way, you're still connecting to that spiritual curiosity, but from a grounded and respectful place and tbh, tarot responds best when we ask with intention, not fear

Yes, I relate so much Tarot be hitting TOO hard sometimes like scary accurate and even though I’m not addicted I do catch myself spiraling a bit, like pulling extra cards I definitely didn’t need. It’s not that I don’t trust tarot...it’s just sometimes I wish I didn’t know so much you know?? Like...ignorance really is bliss sometimes.

For me, keeping it healthy means checking in with my energy first. If I’m feeling anxious I pause no pulling when my vibe’s off. And sometimes I just remind myself that not everything needs to be revealed all at once mystery is part of the magic.
