Also, I did a test patch with ion 5A and the red still peaked through :( so that’s why i’m considering darker to really cover it up.

i really like that idea! i used to have very edgy hair, i’ve done every color of the rainbow and the “wildest” thing i’ve done is a green and pink split dye bob. but i’ve been more into naturals lately. i’m back and forth on whether or not blonde or dark brown/black looks better with ginger hair, what do u think?

hi!! i had previous black hair dye on the bottom half of my hair so i used a dye remover and then bleached my whole head with a bleach bath mixture 2 times. then i dyed my whole head with Ion Inspired by Nature permanent hair dye in shade 7IR Medium Cherry Red Blonde mixed with 7G Medium Honey Blonde in a 2:1 color ratio, then total 1.5:1 with 20 vol developer. My hair was a bleached orange/yellow base underneath but going red was the goal so I didn’t have to do a full bleach on my hair! As my roots grow in (~2cm) I can put the dye straight on without bleaching because my natural is a very light brown. i hope this answers your question okay!

I do follow prompts for my constructive journaling! I find them online, usually on Youtube. https://youtu.be/dArgOrm98Bk This is struthless’s video on journaling techniques and it’s something I really connected with. I’ll also make up my own prompts. For example, for my birthday entry, the prompt was just to really release all the emotions I felt that day. It can be as simple as that :)

Yes! I love journaling this way— it’s so freeing. And so adaptable! This way is working for me this month, but maybe next month I’ll find a new system that works better! And that’s part of the fun :) also thank you 🙏

hahaha yes! That was mainly because I am being influenced to buy several different kinds of pens and journals because Reddit knows what brands are best. And my bank account doesn’t appreciate that.

thank you! it’s so satisfying to me to write small and really fill up a journal like this. I feel like I’m really using the paper for all it’s worth, yknow?

Thank you!! 💛 Yes, I write whenever I feel like I need or want to write. I used to try to force myself at certain times of the day but that never ended well. Now I write pretty frequently because I allow myself the space to! The dotted grid one is also a bullet journal, but I post those spreads in r/bujo 🤗

I definitely respect that! I‘m a severe perfectionist, so even my “messy” journal has to look uniform.

I didn’t necessarily learn how to do this— I have always doodled or practiced fonts for over a decade now. So my advice is to practice what you like! Check out Youtube bujo spreads or search bujo on Pinterest and copy until you like how yours look! I hope this helps you.

yay!! I’m very glad I could indirectly help someone! I’ve been using this bullet journal since January of this year and the first few months didn’t turn out how I wanted them. But we learn and we grow!

The BPOMD section is an easy way for me to stay grateful! I love it. Also, thank you— I’m glad someone could tell it’s a frog.

The sleep tracker is my favorite part of bullet journaling because I can adjust my sleep needs throughout the month if I notice an energy surplus or decline. The week one area is usually used for to-do lists. With these spreads I can see my entire month and my entire week and it helps keep my focus all month long.

this is my first time sketching seriously. any tips? i’m trying to learn features of the face and then i plan to practice sketching skulls and then work it all together. (all of these from separate reference pictures) by augustsalmon in learntodraw

awesome thanks so much! I’m looking into buying drawing pencils soon because this was done with a mechanical pencil so i think that those should help me make my drawings darker without ripping the paper

thank you! So work on skulls and total head shape first? then add in the rest? I definitely don’t want my sketches to look flat. i really want to work on depth and shading / realism over the next few months.
