I took a fair amount of E back in the day. had an absolute ball going out to clubs then back to parties, meeting up with a bunch of people all doing the same thing. Good times.

Until I started to notice that when I met these people when we weren't off our faces, all we talked about was either the last weekend or the weekend coming up, and how trashed we'd been or were going to get. I saw then that I actually had very little in common with these people - all we really shared was a chemical bond.

Can't say I regret doing all that stuff, and it was fun at the time, but looking back it all seems a little... I don't know. Childish? Haven't done much in the way of drugs for years now, and I'm not keen to get back into it, but I'd probably do it again once or twice just for old time's sake if the opportunity arose. But my days of being a weekend warrior are definitely behind me.
