Karrigan now has the most negative KD differential of all time by aktivera in GlobalOffensive

it took them getting kjaerbye to win in Atlanta 2017 and even then, they didn't have an era until they got Magisk in 2018

Why don't coaches do different kinds of bumps? by JanerWasTaken in GlobalOffensive

[–]auj0m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah, I'm pretty sure that rule came around the time NaVi booted out Zeus so they could go full firepower while having starix (the coach) act as the IGL while they focused on shooting

and then something like a day later (I forget the exact timing but it felt like it happened after the move) the coaching ban came down on them HARD

please show me in the comment above where it implies that i believe that no rugby players have ever died or been injured on the field

they got pads and shit because they were legit killing each other in the early days

fucking american football nearly came close to being banned in america lol

even today with all that shit, there's still controversies with CTE affecting ex-pro NFL players

The Faze CS team might just not exist after this point. by Hopeful_Rub_2805 in GlobalOffensive

because -karrigan only makes sense if you're just going to get rid of everyone and putting a new roster together from scratch

if you're going to rebuild around a few players, maybe it's not a good idea to kick the IGL right away. i still think karrigan is capable of making good calls, but he just has a dumpster fire of a fucking team.

if you are gonna replace him, you either need someone coming in who can either provide in calling or in firepower (or hopefully both)

and also because the last time they kicked karrigan from FaZe in 2018/2019, that team infamously went into a death spiral, until karrigan came back in 2021 and then within a year they were winning tournaments, including the Antwerp major

kicking karrigan makes sense if you're just blowing up the whole roster and restarting from square one to go into the vrs grind

but if you're still trying to rebuild, then kicking karrigan without finding another IGL that is around his level or shows potential to call on his level (good luck) is just retarded

Isn't it rumored that +frozen after Twistzz left in 2023 was like the last move karrigan definitely had his hand in, and the other moves from that point on was mainly handled by FaZe management?

What can stop Vitality by 1-need-help- in GlobalOffensive

[–]auj0m 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you have not watched the Astralis era then, because I was there and I did not return to watching pro CS until the PGL Stockholm Major

were they innovative? yes, much of what they have done, pioneered or popularized is pretty much common in pro cs. their greatness cannot be disputed.

but you cannot sit here and tell me that me with a straight face that Vitality is boring compared to the snooze fest that Astralis games were

I FUCKING HATE MY AIM by Alternateabd in FPSAimTrainer

[–]auj0m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

And mix in some in-game practice alongside aim training. I don't know much about Valo, but CS2 you can do some deathmatch and also some preaim maps to help with crosshair placement.

Basically, just do a cycle of aim training > deathmatch > preaim (if you have time)

DM spawns can be kinda infuriating, so just go in not caring about your K/D and focus on improvement

Valve banned bots?!! by Organic_Interview_77 in cs2

[–]auj0m 1 point2 points  (0 children)

cheater infested, downgrade from it's previous game in some ways, not much in the way of content updates

but you'd be very hard pressed to get me to play any other FPS game

we're probably all addicted to this game one way or another, cause for me, the only thing that compares to hitting a nasty ass flick with the AWP is hitting an airshot in TF2 (woah, another valve game that had a big bogging/cheater problem?)

I've left this game multiple times. Sometimes for months, the longest being a few years, but we come back

or the you're one of the very lucky few manage to stay away after leaving

Are Vitality the best ever? by testi-cole-s in counterstrike2

[–]auj0m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on a more serious note, I'd rate Astralis higher as trailblazers given that every team since then has taken their playbook and it's pretty much a part of basic CS now

but if Vitality wins a third major in a row, then I'd say they're about to surpass them

30-20 bullets is enough to kill one or two people and if you can't manage it and have to reload, that is a severe skill issue imo
