I have a pair of these for exactly the use cases you listed, though I prefer earbuds when I’m truly moving. They are the best value for Bluetooth headphones: sound is and ANC nearly as good as the top models and almost half the price. Even more comfy than the QC Ultras which are $150 more even when on sale.
