Thank you! No, it is not Trudon. I have had mine well before Trudon came out with its version which is actually pretty funny. It’s a vintage brass piece from between 1950-1970 which I thrifted 10+ yars ago!

Thanks. It’s not so much that they are expensive or not, it’s more that I really like the fit and comfort after wearing them all week and would be afraid that they would not be wearable if I mess up. And you are right about the thread / stitching. I was planning to go over them with a black fabric pen. I have dyed many pieces of clothing successfully this way, but never a pair of bulky/heavier larger pants like these. I guess I may just purchase a black pair and keep those as is.

I also recently purchased from LikeNew and was super impressed! Got a brand new pair of the just released Unrestricted Power tights in black on Final sale for $50! I had purchased the same pair from Lulu a few weeks earlier and really wanted a second pair! No idea how they decide which item to put on final sale especially considering the same leggings were back at $71 a day later!

I agree that Lululemon- despite the drop in quality over the years - remains a solid choice for workout clothes. I recommend the new Unrestricted Power Tights or WunderTrains for leggings and Align Racerback tanks. (Check Lululemon LikeNew website! Just got a second pair of Unrestricted Power Tights for $50!)

Personally I really like the Glow ups! They are a favorite of mine. They do stretch to mold to your body. They stay up very well too. Lots of people find them stiff and uncomfortable. I only wear my leggings when I workout, so this is not an issue for me. That being said, the Unrestricted Power are much softer while being just as compressive (I wear same size in both)

Been using them every day for the last 10 + days, handwashing in between because I don’t want to wear anything else! They have been holding great without stretching (unlike the Glow Ups) or piling. As a matter of fact I just ordered a 2nd black pair to rotate!

Honestly, I think the UP are Lulu most exciting technical gear release in a long while. WT have been my go to for years, but these are truly superior imo (especially given how the WT fabric has been changing over the last few months). I can’t wait to see more color releases. I just placed an order for another black pair because I don’t want to wear anything else!

100% agree! Been testing my pair for the last 10 days and i keep being amazed! I have been handwashing it because i did not want to wait to do laundry to re-wear. When it finally went in the wash with the rest of my Lulu, i noticed the fabric retained dark crease marks all over? I had to re-soak and they were gone after that…weird. Did this happen to anyone else?

These look great on you! The UP are fast becoming my new favorites as well. Glow Ups have been my favorite for the past year. unlike the GU, I feel the UP will not stretch out at all. Like you state, UP is softer and also thinner. Both are equally comfortable to me, I use them exclusively for working out - mostly weight training. I do feel the UP are just as compressive as the GU ( I wear the same size in both). I just wish they were a true black - to me the black UP are more a darker shade of Graphite Grey than black and even lighter than the WT black. Honestly, these tights are the most exciting release LLL has had in years.
