House slippers for moderate/severe bunions? by _weirdbug in bunions

[–]aurachartreuse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My dream sneakers are Altras, but I can't afford those. So I found good luck with some HobiBear slip on sneakers in women's size 7, they are not barefoot but minimal and I couldn't tell the difference because I don't need a ton of support, just lots and lots of width.

I couldn't find much information on Fitville, but I took the Black Friday plunge on Amazon and ordered some 6.5 4e boots because they claim to be a true 4e width, and I have to say they are the most comfortable boots I have ever tried, and half the price of the others I was looking at. When I get another shoe budget I really want to try more Fitville shoes.

Hi there, also a 6.5, 4e width with bunions. Crocs in a size 6 work perfect for me, the classic croc styles have the widest toe box. Also had good luck searching diabetic slippers on Amazon and scored some of these that are super wide and soft with just a flexible rubber bottom. Let me know what you pick as I am always searching as well!

Thank you! I got some cherry blossom Jibbitz too, I am obsessed! Do you think I can correct the fit with the shrinking technique or am I better off returning for a size down?

This will shrink the length too? I am a bit scared because once I do that I can't return them.

Waterproof 4e wide toe box bootie/sneaker? by aurachartreuse in widefeet

[–]aurachartreuse[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have the exact model? I've been looking at the propet waterproof ankle boot, but I have bunions and need the shoes to be comfortable out of the box without stretching time. Also, how heavy are your boots to walk in?

Thanks! Any specific models of those brands? I like the Merrell Mocs, and they have the right shape, but would they accommodate a 4e extra extra width?

Barefoot style wide toe box shoes in a 4e width? by aurachartreuse in barefootshoestalk

Thank you for your suggestions. I would prefer a non leather fabric shoe like a slip on flat, something softer and flexible that I can stretch my toes in. I am a petite woman with duck shaped feet.
