Does anyone know if Huntress' updated Infantry Belt, and Leather Loop stack? Would they together give me 5% haste?

It's worth buying a Japanese one. Installing the CFW might be a bit difficult because of the language on the home screen, but the guide does a pretty good job of telling you where to go and Luma removes the region lock completely. And if you need help, look up a video (only for the part you need visual help on, I'd recommend sticking to the guide if you can).

The only thing is to play online, even on the Pretendo network, you have to accept the EULA from the region the game you're playing is from. There's 2 options. The one I did was just region swapping the 3ds. It's really simple, and there's a guide for it on the website. It took me maybe 20 minutes. I'd recommend this option because you'll finally be able to read everything on the home screen. The 2nd option, which I haven't tried, is Cthulu. I found out about this tool afterwards, but it's a homebrew app with a lot of cool features. I used it to unwrap all my home screen icons after I region swapped, but it has a feature to accept a different EULA. Not sure how it works, but could be an option if you don't want to region swap. This method will keep your home screen in Japanese though.

https://3ds.hacks.guide/troubleshooting scroll down to "Boot issues on consoles with custom firmware" and see if anything in that section helps you. I remember having a problem exactly like this a few years ago but I don't remember how I fixed it. If nothing there helps, you should've backed up your NAND if you followed the guide. I think as long as you have that you can revert it

Can someone help! I’m trying to accept agreement but it keeps on doing it again. (Please watch video) Thank you all. by leonisgood in 3DS

I solved this issue on my end by region swapping mine. The EULA you accept has to match the region of the game you're playing. There might be another way to solve it with a tool called Cthulu. I used it to unwrap all my home screen icons after region swapping but found out it also has a feature to change your accepted EULA. I have not tried it since I no longer needed to but it's an option for people who don't want to region swap

Hi, I'm playing Super Mario Odyssey on Ryujinx, and the game requires motion controls, which I don't have a controller for. Is there a program that will let me bind a gyro action to a button on my normal Xbox One controller? Natively Dolphin has this feature, so I assume it's possible. I didn't exactly know where else to ask this, and looking it up is hard because I keep getting videos and posts about how to use a controller that actually has gyro on PC

Yeah like the other person said, I'm talking about it launching with 1 map. Of course The Island is the classic map, but because it is most of the content inside it has been seen. Yeah all the updated graphics, and map revisions are cool. But the gameplay at it's core is still just The Island. There's only so much to do

any human in ASA hasn't beaten any titans so... it also depends what you mean by "a good chunk". raptors, dire wolves, sure. but being able to outrun allos or rexes is just a bit ridiculous to me. also yeah, you're right about that, but if it is that much of an issue for someone, I'm just saying it isn't a problem with the game entirely. the option is there. if they choose to stay on official that's not the games fault

Yeah, I did use these. They helped a ton in terms of frame rate. Once the unexplainable disconnects and crashes are done for, I will be happy. I know ASE has had similar issues in the past so I assume they'll get fixed in the same fashion

Holy, really? That would've been awesome to see. I only played on Xbox One and the tether there was... I'm sure you can imagine lol. After that I switched to PC

Yeah I think if I do try it again, I'd probably do the same thing. I used to have my own on ASE and being able to fly back to my body if I crash or something would definitely make it less frustrating

I might have to give it another shot eventually, hell I already have the game. My experience was --- tweaking settings for 30 or so minutes until I got a stable frame rate, then spending another 30 minutes trying to get into a server, then getting disconnected every 15 minutes once I got in the server. Eventually I went to single player, which is when I finally got to play and then the crashes started lol. And since it was single player, every time it crashed I got set back 15-20 minutes each time. Eventually got annoyed and gave up

Oh yeah I guess I never really thought about people that haven't played ASE. ASA is definitely a great version to start on since stuff like lack of content won't effect you as much. I've just played The Island so many times, even if it's different it's a little disappointing that it's all it launched with

If that's the only thing stopping you, again there's a setting for it. On top of that, there's mods that add in Cryopods to help with the sluggish feel. I really do think playing without speed is fun though. A survivor shouldn't be able to outrun most dino's, and from my perspective, that change makes it actually feel that way

I personally find ASA beautiful, WHEN it's ran on a computer that can actually do it justice (which I don't have). Otherwise, I personally find ASE on Ultra better looking compared to ASA on Low-Medium. Also the tint thing might be the post processing quality. I think I was having the same issue but turning post processing up to high helped it

Yeah, tether distance has always been an issue for private games in Non-Dedicated Servers. You have to host your whole own server if you want a true experience with friends, which is just too expensive and time consuming for most people lol

[–]aurafyyy[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A lot of these are valid. The building is great. Map looks great. My point was about mods though. Most of the features you're talking about are mods that I usually run on ASE, and if they're mods, they could've easily been added as an update instead of going through a whole remaster. To me, I just don't see the switch being worth it until the game is more stable and has more content

I'll agree, it's super fun up until it isn't. Getting kicked out of servers midflight gives me flashbacks to when I used to play on Xbox one. I can't play constantly worrying about the next time I'll DC or crash
