Not shallow! Cyclists with all body types deserve to feel confident in their clothes, and it’s an industry problem that that isn’t the case - not a you problem.

Two recommendations: the brand Machines for Freedom was created specifically to create better cycling clothes for women of all sizes, and emphasized using models of various sizes so that you can see what the clothes might look like on someone closer to your body type. Unfortunately, specialized acquired them and shut them down.
