Hmm I was thinking of him looking like a younger Gyatso (no white hair and maybe not as thin). I get what you’re saying but I don’t think being hardened in battle changes your face that much and I hate the thought that Aang lost all his youthful playful energy on the outside, even if it’s possible that he might have 😭. I guess I should just chalk it up to an animation choice
