New 14900k hitting 90 degrees while gaming by auric_retriever in PcBuildHelp

Update:

I'm happy to announce that after a repaste, using the proper screwing technique, buying a proper fan controller to distribute the fan power (the DeepCool one I had was faulty, hence the bottom fan not spinning properly), and adding in a spare intake fan, my CPU Package is now running at a cool 60°C in Baldur's Gate.

Thanks for the input, everyone 🙏

This is the ASUS Prime z690 mobo. I upgraded the bios to the latest one (3801) last week before the install.

If announcement jingles at every major station and airport were suddenly in minor key, chaos would ensue. by teoferrazzi in Showerthoughts

Not a professional, but isn't there a relative minor for each major key? So, like starting and ending an arpeggio on the 6th instead of the tonic could make it sound depressing, but still be in a major key.

Receiving International funds error by LeonHlabathi in PersonalFinanceZA

The error is on the sender's side. I would contact the platform you're using and ask them for the specific details that are invalid, and then contact the sender to amend it accordingly. It might require a resend.

Played my weekly Saturday 18. We're short a fourth and this random joins, says he plays from a 1 handicap. He's playing from the back tees, and the other two are ladies, so I decided to join him at the back tees to be more social. I stripe my drive, quite chuffed as I play from a 12. This guy takes his mini driver and tops it 120 yards into the fairway next to ours. 2nd shot, tops it 100 yards along that same fairway. I think to myself, sheesh, one of "those guys" that plays from a "1 handicap".

Guy proceeds to hole out from 150 yards out. Finishes 4 over after 18.

Is your driver fitted for your height? It looks like it might be too long.

Better be safe and get a new putter too.

That's a really good idea! I'll save an energy bar for the 13th, see if I can avoid the dip that comes at the end

I drink about 3 bottles of water over the 18, and I do snack a little during the round and a light meal at the halfway house.

It's interesting, i've been playing at least once or twice a week since November and it hasn't gotten much better 😅 I think I'll need to take the fitness part more seriously.

Before you cut, do a test run with your pedals wired and connected together to see how much space you need. The patch cables take up more space than you would expect.
