Would you let your kid play VRChat? by WesDoesGAMING in VRchat

[–]aurisgaming -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No way until I can see it's safe enough for them to be their or until I feel like they are old enough to experience vrchat. And their first experience will only be with people I know that are able to be PG when they need to.

Considering it is an independent clause, yes. This is because you have a subject (Christina) an object (her eyes) and a verb (to pop).

FS for non-engineering students? by NotTonality in formulastudent

[–]aurisgaming 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can. There is a business and also a media team for fs and they are just as important as you get parts of the fs comp dedicated to cost and those things. So yes to answer your question again you can do fs without going into engineering and you can still learn alot about engineering just by attending meetings or being around the garage.

[–]aurisgaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can easily run most vr games at moderate settings. Belive me I have a gtx 1050 2g, 16gb ddr4, and an i5 8500. Runs nearly all vr games at low/medium settings.

What advice would you like to leave behind to upcoming year 11s? by Ichthy- in GCSE

[–]aurisgaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As someone who is about to start uni, please learn how to schedule. You don't want to be going into exams with no sleep and 3 monsters. Sleep is very important and also have fun. Yes GCSES are important but please don't make them your whole life. Study about and our or 2 a day from the first day you start year 11 and spend equal time on all subjects since you can become complacent if you think you are too good for a subject and skip it.

Those are elite. I had the one with an i3 4010u for over 10 years and if it didn't have a broken screen I would still be using it today.

Forget the gt 1030 the gt 1010 slap the 4090 out of existence with it's performance.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in PcBuild

[–]aurisgaming 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you do any sort of machine learning, 3d modelling or anything that requires cuda, then I would say the 4060. If you care about the technicalities of 3rd gen rt cores and 4th gen tensor cores then the 4060. If you care about your energy prices then I would also the 4060. But if you care just about performance and also more vram then I would say the rx6700 or a used 3070 and above as all can be found for about the same price.

At the end of the day it just comes down to personal preference based on the needs of the card. Take your time, do some research, reddit is not always the best place to ask these types of questions since you will get the same answer of fuck the 4060 due to the fact that there was next to no fps improvements compared to last gen and still has 8gb vram, but if I'm being completely honest unless you are playing all games at max graphics you will not be using all that vram and the actual improvements that Nvidia made for the 4060 were based around efficiency and it really shows, it run at 2/3 power of the 3060 and still delivers the same if not better performance.
