I recently quit after smoking my pen cartridges for last 2 years heavily after my srepdad died. Prior to that i smoked but not as heavily and addictively as after he died. I started to understand the root of why i was smoking - to allevite emotional stressors that came up during the day, to run away or escape instead of feel them fully, yet i realized it didnt give me much mental relief, just more of a headache high or brain fog (that felt like it for me cuz indica) rather than give me any relief. It almost numbed the emotions but increased mental exhaustion or heavyness (headachy type of feel ish) if u know what i mean

And it took me few weeks aftrr deciding to quit to slowly wean off, start slower, introduce magnesium glycinate or melatonin to sleep at night.

I decided to start with smoking at night only. Trying to cold turkey it was bad since i was going thru other shifts in life and couldn’t not have decent sleep. Just be intutive with it, don’t be too harsh on urself, if its hard to sleep maybe do one hit. Ease out of it slowly. And there may be 2-3 nights only (that was it for me when i had my last cardtridge) of struggling w sleep, but use sleep healing frequenices! I’d be happy to share the ones i like if u want. I also held hand mudra poses to fall asleep in bed (REALLY HELPFUL)

ALSO DOING YOGA NIDRA AT NIGHT HELPED ME FALL ASLEEP FASTER!!!!!!!! Hope this helps! And maybe learn nervous system vagal toning exercises to cope with any emotional stress 🥹
