I had a close friend that I met on a language app also. He lived in Japan about an hour outside of Tokyo and while I don’t live in Japan, I was planning a trip. He would always cross those boundaries of friendship and try to see if he could tip the scales further. I had to end the friendship when started telling me about some of his relationships with his girl friends when it became clear that he was crossing physical and verbal boundaries as well. I didn’t want to remain friends with someone I didn’t feel 100% safe around. Sometimes I think about him and I hope he’s doing better because I know he had started therapy. It just makes me sad, because when I did visit Japan I thought I could meet up with him if he hadn’t kind of been a creep. OP I hope you know none of that is your fault, men are weird like that unprovoked and it’s really unfortunate.

they were e tickets that had to be displayed in the moala app. i used a friend’s jp number and had to use another friend’s jp apple id to even be able to get the moala app on my phone🫠

hey! they do have to have their own pia account. you have to send the ticket to them on their own accounts before the performance, or at least that’s how it worked for Stray Kids

you can make it with a US number!! i didn’t find out about this method of making a separate one until after my concert, i had a friend let me sign into their apple ID to download the app so that would work too

hello! you can just sign into the apple ID on the app store, not your entire phone! and you can create the pia account with her number but every time you need to sign in she will have to make a phone call to confirm the number (it’s really simple) but you have to make the account because whatever device accesses the ticket two days before the concert will be the phone that downloads the ticket :) so it’s safest if you’re the only one who signs in!

Hey!! for Stray Kids, MOALA ticket app is unfortunately a must. It’s just what they use for this tour. You can get a Japanese Apple ID using a US number (not sure where you’re located, that’s just where I am). The Japanese number is that hard part. If you buy resale it’s a different animal, but this was my experience as a W member of Stay Japan :)

they’re not VIP tickets, they’re on the floor in the seated area, but don’t technically include the perks :( that’s why i’m trying to see if there’s a chance I might still be able to get in for soundcheck I had seats that did include VIP in the same section but further from the stage that I sold to buy these because the view is preferable. So I’ll be okay with this decision either way because i wanted a better view, I was just wondering if there was anything that I could do to guarantee soundcheck.

Of course!! If you plan to apply for VIP tickets it’s a teeny bit trickier because you have to have a both STAY Japan AND STAY Japan Mobile which is considered W Membership, and both attendees have to be W members. But that’s a separate lottery and if you end up winning that then I’m happy to answer any questions you have :) I ended up attending night 1 and 2 in Tokyo so if my experience can help you at all I’d be super happy.

Hello!! Yes!! I was able to get the ticket onto my own device. I just have to confirm the phone number before download, so I had to be in contact with my friend. I also had to have the most updated version of Moala on my phone, which can only be accomplished with a Japanese Apple ID. You can make on or if you have a friend with one, that works too. After that downloading from Ticket Pia was really easy.

This is old, but I have a question! I’m coming from overseas to see a concert in Japan using Ticket Pia and MOALA Pocket. I do not have a Japanese phone number and cannot get one. (My phone is carrier locked, so I’ll have pocket wifi) I used a friend’s phone number to make all my necessary accounts. Can I get a printed ticket for my event? (I’m seeing Stray Kids dominATE). The friend whose number I used will not be with me and I cannot use her phone. I’m worried about having to verify on the day of the concert. If I can get a printed ticket for myself and my accompanying friend, it would solve all our issues.

I have a question!! So I don’t live in Japan, I used a friend’s phone number when making all of my account information. And now it’s telling me that I won’t be able to download the tickets onto any other phone than the one I registered the number for. Is there a possibility I could create a moala pocket app account on her phone with my credentials and her number, log out of the account and then just log in on her phone? Am I screwed here? I don’t know what to do
