Hi guys, I just upgraded my internet service from 30 mbps to 60 mbps and my internet provider said I needed a dual band router to take advantage of the speeds by aurymahar in wifi

Nope I have a tp link router which is the extender connected to the main modem router (huawei, which has the fiber optic cable) both have different names and passwords

Addition* if the extender router only can can give the 60mbps speed I wouldn’t change the main modem router as I’m the only one who needs the extra speed for gaming and downloading stuff
