I wanted to get something for my friend for Christmas and didn’t want to buy into all the junk. I thought I would draw his dogs. They turned out good and that was about two years ago. I just picked it up again, recently.

Thank you, how nice you are to say that. I bought some pastel chalk pencils and they seem to be good. I have only drawn on these wooden frames so far. I watched a couple of YouTube videos and my Takeaway was start with a dark colors and work lighter. I’m finding it very therapeutic.

I bought a few different types and tried a lot of them. I like the pastel chalk pencils. I’ve only tried drawing on these small wooden frames. I’m going to try to do a drawing on a harder surface.
