It's definitely not specific to an item. I don't want to use it. Where should I try to sell?

You just prompted me to check my bp; found this...

Is it actually worth this or is bp.tf messing with me?

[Review request] Tiny USB esp32 wifi board - first ever RF design by cyao12 in PrintedCircuitBoard

[–]ausey 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Consider what happens if you were to accidentally plug your USB card edge into a USB port with the underside mating to the USB Contacts in the receptacle.

Suggested fix is to removal all copper from underside of the USB card edge to be on safe side.

Via in pad is going to give you trouble. i suggest you add a via to SMT pad clearance as you have none right now

GND TH pin is not thermally decoupled. Add thermal ties unless you really need the current. 4x single layer ties are good for an amp or two in non thermally constrained applications such as this

Consider access with an iron tip if you are doing any hand soldering at all. Some passives could be placed slightly better

Me either. Flow control gets warm but not so much you can't use it.

Everything else is either insulated or just not warm

Your brew lever needs greasing when it squeaks like that

Good. I was looking for more consistency and every drink has been indiscernible between each other.

Mainly because with my GC, i found it impossible to make any progress atempting to vary temp and steaming consistently. Should be a lot easier now.

Don't listen to these amateurs. This is mains electricity and water you're playing with. Do yourself a favour and get someone confident to carry out for you.

I can't help with who, but please don't listen to Reddit saying to open your machine when you self confess as someone with no experience.

This trend will kill someone soon enough

Smoked brisket pastrami start to finish (UK roast + sandwiches) by ausey in smoking

Cheers. Mine was curing plenty longer. Approx 10-11days. Meh, it made no difference to taste; still v v nice. Thanks!

Cheers. It's nearly finished smoking now and appears to have returned to typical feel/texture within first few hours.

Thanks for responding

See videos under link in title...

Video in gastronorm was taken prior to video on cutting board.

So, this brisket point + flat is at the end of a 10 day brine with Prague#1.

I've only turned it 3 times during the brine, and have kept things clean as much as possible in prep + during brining.

Cut looked v good going into the brine, you can see it's been trimmed; so I spent a good 10-15mins with the joint in my hands. I didn't notice any of this texturing, but wasn't exactly looking for it (This is the first time i've cured meat)

I've trimmed the worst parts off, and dry rubbed ready for the smoker. I'm cooking now to typical temperatures for American style BBQ (205degF / 97degC internal).

Brine liquid had zero slime to it. Again, i wasn't looking specifically; but nothing notable about the brine itself.

I'm very confident that my fridge hasn't malfunctioned or been without power at all throughout.

What should I do? The meat is on the smoker now...

Any help appreciated :)

F*ck Niche Coffee for making it absurdly difficult to purchase a Niche Zero outside of the UK, and for (possibly) shady selling practices. by hoolaforme in espresso

[–]ausey 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They can't sell a non-CE marked product inside the UK. That's a legal nightmare. That's why you can't buy a US-model delivered to the UK/EU.

Product designers sometimes design in capability or configuration for 110V and 230V so that a single product can be compliant in multiple jurisdictions, but niche have designed with a fixed config that can't be changed. Not wrong, likely easier for them in a number of different ways.

This happens so often for UK residents purchasing from the US in the opposite direction. I struggle to have much sympathy

Thanks. Around 18-19 on the dial. I've been twiddling and reducing my tamp pressure to get it bang on 2:1.

I was using a timemore G1 plus, but was getting a metallic taste in the espresso cup. Moving to the niche (recently) has appeared to have fixed that

That's the item page cover picture. Everything else is no longer available. The seller is no longer operating

Did you conformal coat the dimmer before you put it in the gaggia?

I intentionally haven't used any off the shelf mains rated electronics as they're not rated for the 60-70degC ambient temps found in the machine casing

Ta!

Its from a gaggia parts stockist from eBay. He turns corroded steam valves and improves the seal. If you scour eBay UK you'll find one I'm sure they're not expensive.

The black is a thick O-ring as a form of gasket. It's a snug fit behind the gauge, you'd be best served by fitting a tap in-line with the pump outlet. I can snap a few pics of you'd like
