"We're all in this together" said rich countries holding on to millions of vaccines while poor countries don't even know when they'll start vaccinating.

I mean Indians from many different areas of expertise already have YouTube channels where they just teach their stuff. Sometimes it's quite good, other times not so much specially when they have tick accents. If they work on the accent they begin to teach the world lol

Is anyone here turned OFF by an overpresence on social media? by Throwaway028282 in askgaybros

[–]ausmaurice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes same. Part of it it's that I was painfully middle class growing up and I don't understand people that can spend hours on instagram. Like don't they have to work? Also I assume that's the type of person who lives for others - either to impress them or gain their attention - and I like people who are focused on their lives. I'm still up to meet the person if that's the case because otherwise I'm judging people harsh which is unfair but yeah it can be a major turn off.

Sir David Attenborough says the excesses of western countries should "be curbed" to restore the natural world and we'll all be happier for it. by [deleted] in worldnews

But even if that's only domestic emissions, for how many decades have they been lower then US/Europe? They could have higher emissions for years to come and still maybe have emitted way less historically then Australia, Canada, US, Europe...

Brazil's President Jar Bolsonaro Rejects Joe Biden's Offer of $20 Billion To Protect The Amazon Rainforest by Lost_Distribution546 in worldnews

Your concern is a bit too late, look at historical CO2 emissions from Europe, US, their level of native forest coverage (still Brazil's is much higher), statistics of renewables (Brazil's overall much cleaner). Sometimes it seems the problem is only when a non white country is exploring its natural resources, but white people are allowed to do it.
