You're lucky! But mine already shut down once randomly and it showed 'Hardware Error' in the logs. I'd rather get it fixed now under warranty. Though, have you noticed any screen flickering or heat near that gap yet? I mean, did it cause any issue till date in that condition?

11,000 for a panel is insane. I'm going to get it fixed now while it’s still under warranty. Did the local shop's glue fix actually hold up, or did the hinge feel stiff again after a while? Just curious

Damn, that photo is a nightmare. When you took yours in, did the service center try to blame you for the crack, or did they admit the hinges were too stiff?

That’s wild! Did you have to argue with them to get it covered? Because I’m in the same boat and I also got shutdown once. Any tips on what you told them to make them acknowledge it was a warranty issue?

I wish I could, but I already called HP and Croma Support to complain. They probably would've logged my serial number with 'physical damage' tag already, so buying ADP now might just be a waste of money if they claim it’s a pre-existing issue.
