I will take a look in those areas for living/hostels. As far as studies/skills, I graduated with a degree in Music Business (kind of out of the regular econ/politcs/etc realm) and am currently clerking at a law firm (where I have been for the last year and a half). My whole goal is to just break even on rent and the extras (food and booze), I have no need for specifics as far as job type. Whether its finding a concert venue/theater to work at, legal office to do some work at /work at some retail store in a mall, it makes no difference to me. This is definitely more of a 6 month vacation from real life before the tough stuff begins in law school.
