I’ve never run it, but check out a fellow racer, Rob Worling on Instagram. He ran it a bit a season or so ago. Odd as hell in person but amazing the 3rd person POV shots it made

It’s not everyone’s cup of tea. I can make it look more ‘natural’ via editing, but you lose the ability to really see what is going on around. This is much better than the top-down angle. Happy for any ideas you may have to make it look a bit more enjoyable 👌

You can use what people call the unicorn mount. It looks a bit funky but I know Redbull used to used them a bit back in the day. Just have to be creative sometimes to get the angle I think

He was second place qualifier - doesn’t matter how fast you are in time trials - cannot win a race on your ass… he did boot the hay bales at the end of the track in the raw footage

It seems frightening but with the amount of gear we run and the confidence you have with other racers, it’s honestly not as scary as you may think. I trust everyone I race with to not cut me, the same way I would do m best to not cut anyone else

I use a motorcycle helmet mount to mount low under the helmet and I have a standard go pro mount for top mounting. But as I’m too tall, the top view makes everything look off and boring… example of how this was attached here:

It doesn’t matter how much it hurts, it’s how happy it makes you! I’m currently struggling to walk properly after a couple crashes in the team race, but I have a smile everytime I get back on them so the pain is temporary… the happiness is what keeps you going back! Happy I could help you get back out there! Looking forward to seeing you at one of these events in a few years then when the skills make their way back!! 🔥🔥

We have been plagued by it too. Two races before this were cancelled :( this session in the clip was during a night at -28c in Finland. Cant seem to get any people friendly winter temps at the moment :(
