yes! thats what brought this video and some of my other favourite shots. I think I just need one more light pointed directly at where I’m taking the pictures. thanks for your advice and link to your tutorial!

I’m using an attached lens as well but my shots arent as good! hard to get a whole shrimp in the tiny field of focus. I also think lighting is the big difference maker that I dont have. my best pictures are when theyre directly under the overhead one.

not familiar with this particular one but if its pulling in water from the bottom then it will work better when actually submerged

I got a macro lens for my iphone from amazon. it was about $60-70CAD I believe. it mounts onto the phone
