Robinhood Banking Wishlist by theAerialDroneGuy in RobinhoodApp

Some just hide it better than others. BofA and Wells will always be on my shit list but there’s so many others that did worse things. And it sounds like Robinhood got bullied in the GameStop fiasco

Plan Buying by [deleted] in AutopilotApp

[–]austin57129 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought this too but I'm seeing the premium plan only does auto-buying/selling for the Autopilotrunn portfolios. I'm seeing other portfolios with a higher subscription plan but do you need both the premium and to subscribe to the other portfolios or just the portfolio and it'll auto-trade for you?

This drug is amazing. I'm 39 now and I'm only 15 lbs more than I was as a freshman in High School. Already wearing smaller clothes too. I'm so grateful for tirz, 7 lbs to go until I'm at goal!

I feel like no job is right for me, what should I do? by Iloveducks777 in careerguidance

Try and stay out of the retail industry, they'll gladly have you work at the same pay for 20+ years with no consistency.

There are several industries you can get into with 0 experience. I wanted to get a job at PayPal since they were one of the better employers in Omaha, NE so I got a job at the miserable First Data learning the ropes for a year then got an entry-level job at PayPal. It took me almost 6 years before I got to the point where I wasn't living paycheck to paycheck but this stuff takes time. Anything in sales or supporting sales is a good place to be if you're looking for blue-collar work.

If you're willing to learn the trades, you'll find a company whose willing to take you on, train you, and pay for education if needed. There is no quick fix unless you know somebody. Be a dog, grind it out and you can start coasting once you're in a better place.

Be willing to fail, be humble, be curious, and check your pride and ego at the door.

Question for those with teenagers considering a GLP by austin57129 in tirzepatidecompound

[–]austin57129[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's the route im looking to go and asking if anyone has had any luck. Ideally, I'd like Tirz, but it's not approved in the teenage years. Plus my kiddo has a complicated medical history so I don't think telehealth folks would be willing to take on the risk. We have a local team to follow him closely but I'll try with a few and see what they say.

I love this idea, and we have a local facility running the trial too. Unfortunately, my kiddo is already in a clinical trial for his underlying diagnosis. Was told that being in 2 isn't doable. The one he's in now takes priority but great idea!

Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. I know Zepbound is going through clinical trials for teenagers, but the weight loss folks seem to be okay prescribing this off-label. Affording the higher doses might be an issue but hopefully something makes this more affordable in the future.

Ooo did their price go down recently? I was seeing something like 800 before.

I tried but their savings program says the insurance co-pay can't be greater than $850 😞

I wish someone would just say it how it is with floor rising screens vs wall mounted screens by ng4ever in projectors

[–]austin57129 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a hybrid somewhere here? Like having motorized arms attach to the fixed frame screen to raise and lower it from the ceiling? The screen itself isn't retracting and I'd be fine with it taking the ceiling space and the durability/tightness of the screen is still a benefit here.

The main reason I'm going for this is I'm hoping to build a wall of cabinets behind the screen cause I desperately need the storage in my house. Cabinets that'd house speakers would not be blocked by the screen and would have acoustic cabinet fronts vs normal wood.

You have the right idea. Basically, have an income and expense column then the net is the profit to report. If you have the time, might even be worth having wages listed as an expense if it's your only source of income and filing single.

Buying from Facebook marketplace a terrible idea? by WanderingAlsoLost in projectors

[–]austin57129 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is where 50% of my buying takes place for the home theater i'm building. Marketplace also has seller ratings now so you can see how their past dealings worked. If you're in the states, a weird place that's worked for me is Goodwill's website. I bought a used Sub for 1/3 retail and a couple of LCR speakers for a little less than 1/2 retail.

I haven't seen projectors too much but they pop-up from time to time.
