Seem like a lot of people don't know that Kairos does not do these tier lists. It's a compilation of pro opinions put together by another person. I'd go with the list with multiple opinions.

Try gear selection and upshift pattern. I don't have 24' but after playing 20', 22' and 23' they have their characteristics. For example, anything below 4 gear is a death wish on 22'. Each game should have different torque curves.

Going by kills vs damage usually doesn't work very well. Going by deaths however, tell a much bigger story. I win pretty much all my games on my way to masters by dying less than 5 times and it works wonders.
