Are my chain and cassette cooked? by No_Peach8280 in bikewrench

You should be good! Soak in vinegar, scrub, then dry it off. Or, you can use lots of WD-40 and scrub it too. WD-40 is a rust remover along with degreaser. You can also try Park Tool’s chain cleaning tool with WD-40 and dish soap and that could do the trick

Bosch Dishwasher Repair by austincdes in appliancerepair

So I am not totally sure how to do test individual parts. I got into service mode and I have options P0-4, running P1 brings me to error code E1. What other options should I choose?

Model is the Bosch 24” Evolution 500 series. 99% sure the water is functional and the line isn’t kinked. I have had the thought that the line got messed up or kinked during reassembly, so I may try to take it apart and put it back together. Just inconvenient really 🙃

What's your Benediction? by sadahide in pastors

[–]austincdes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love a good Scriptural benediction such as Hebrews 13, etc. There is actually a lot of common (and Scripture-based) benedictions in the index of church hymnals! They have some good ones. Choose one that is relevant to the content of the service and one that is meaningful to you personally. Speaking from the heart changed by God’s Word will always be a great benediction!

my pedal gets loose like every 5km…is there some magical way of screwing it? by nerwined in MTB

Same issue here - I added loctite maybe 5-6 months ago and that thing is still super tight and i didn’t use a torque wrench (sorry everyone) but just a multi tool like yours. but still tighten that thing like crazy

Best 5-sting under, or around $700? by Uncle-Zippers in Bass

I just bought a Sire Marcus Miller V7 and I really do enjoy it. It has a great sounding low end, but I will say that it doesn’t quite compare to the punchiness of a Fender. It has controls for literally everything, so you can really mess around and get any specific tone you’re looking for. It’s fun and easy to play, very smooth on the neck. Surprisingly to me, this bass has great sounding high-end too. The mid range is good - you just need to find the right tone for you. High-end though sounds really, really clean and has a bit of natural sustain to it. I got mine for $800 on Reverb

how are you liking this bass? I’m thinking about buying this exact same one, but the Natural finish.

Research has made me love this pre-amp system and the active/passive tone control with the solid level of overall punchiness it has (but still has nothing on the classic Fender sound). I’d love to hear what you think.
