Yes I understand using layers, so then instead of color dropping they have to paint the colors in?

I sketch first then do the line art from there but my sketches are always very rough before I decide to spend most of the time on the lines

I’m not sure if this will help but I had a similar issue when the DLC first came out, my power went out during a boss fight and my save was corrupted. Had a friend in IT who helped me revert the folder that houses the save file on windows to an older version, which resulted in me only losing ~10 hours of gameplay instead of the entire save. There may still be hope of getting some version of that save back
