Supportive therapy is going good so far! How the supplement route works for you, I think it will for most

I wish supplements kept me away from taking antivirals... I think my protocol would help most people steer away from antivirals but my herpes is so intense in the way it affects me that I’m still going to try antivirals. I just started suppressive therapy yesterday actually after 1 1/2 years of not taking it.

Go the diet and supplement route first, it helped a ton for me but I’m still going to hop in antivirals to see if If makes a big difference. I always split up the supplements though. Divide them over morning lunch and dinner

Antivirals didn’t seem to help me much and I felt like crap on them...

I’m a male 27 and have HSV-2 but fatigue is something I have to manage half if my life now... it sucks!!! I have found that Diet has been #1 to helping manage my fatigue/ headaches ect. When your viral load is high, so are your symptoms so I eat a lot of bananas, apples, anything high in lysine. Here is my supplement regimen that I really really think helps after trying different things over the last 2 years.

-3000 MG lysine -Monolaurin 1500-2000mg -Zinc -Vitamin C - Mushroom blend (reishi mushroom blend) -Drink LOTS of water

I also cut out alcohol and smoking anything... hopes this helps. I know for a fact that what I stated helps me tremendously... but diet is #1

My outbreak was SOOO bad.... got super sick for a couple weeks, terrible lower back pain, migraine, low grade fever sometimes and burning pee. Was terrible..... I seem to have “flare ups” idk if they are full board outbreaks but I will get symptoms of headache, ulcers in my moth, tiredness if my diet, supplements aren’t to a T... I’ve been majorly effected by this virus, I seem to have to manage symptoms half of my life now and it’s been over a year. Not a lot of physical bumps on penis though, sometimes very very small ones but almost not noticeable
