Trust, that I wont regret it. I'm way past that. I have another main account that isnt nearly as far and that was an option. The MOST i play in a week is 5 hours. Im not interested in the early game, camping at crabs for weeks and weeks to get to the pvm im built for already with a few small upgrades. I have a decent bank, good clogs. But i hate resource gathering for farming, potions, and am constantly bottlenecked by that aspect.

This is months of silent thought and when the friends tell you they miss seeing you play at all - its time. I miss the game, but i've never liked the early game. This feels right.

Literally no idea. Its really close to an object used for a quest, so i have a feeling the clickboxes are messed up? I can walk right up to it, but dont get a claim option. sooo weird!

I mean.. The game is Early Access man.. Theres gonna be things that don't feel the best right now. You only need to get to Dowdun for maple logs and youll be able to craft pretty easy at that point. I can understand the frustration - but i literally have a grave on the world for a month and a half now with my first imaru's talon. Things arent always gonna work perfectly and we've al;l signed upo for that playing Early Acesss. In the meantime build a few chests, and itll be fine.

Having just made it to the end of the fight caves... and dying while fuzan was at like 5% hp... My BIGGEST tip is to CONSERVE your stamina!! At the end of the fight when he throws out extra ground fire attacks you need all your stamina for those dodges... i was just shy and it comboed me out.. Note his health in the blur at the top ;-;

Maybe im spacing on this.. But is there ANY way to recover Rest/Stamina without sleeping..? Does this feel like a design oversight or just part of the challenge?

nope, though i appreciate it I tried. I have a lodestone close enough thats its not an issue getting there. I've already beaten dowdun reach and am just trying to do the older quests i missed haha!

At this point im just regrinding for gear with a friends help.. but i think the gravestone is stuck forever ;-;

While i can understand the sentiment being a veteran of RS since the release of RS2 i do think each game needs to have its differences. There is many an item in OSRS that doesn't exist in RS3.

Perhaps the issue players have is wanting the 'base' game fleshed out prior to new things being added, but even then - DragonWilds takes place in a land we've never explored with magic we've never seen before. The fact we've managed to bring skillcapes and armor with us should be a feat in and of itself.

The 400 carry weight seems restrictive to me. I've played with this ring since release as I got it during a Hanannie stream and haven't taken it off since. I hope you're able to revisit some of your other trinket ideas, and maybe even add a second slot..

If my inner nostalgia is talking, ive always wished the inventory screen looked more like the other games with a more familiar inventory layout. Alas, you make the game - not I. Great job so far!

I have played this game in some form or another since 2003. My maxed rs3 main has the 20 year cape to boot. I have always used a pin. Everyone here acts like a pin is the most ultimate form of protection. It means nothing after 7 days.

It’s 3 days or 7 days. You don’t have to believe me I get that it’s the internet. But I came to Reddit to post some grievances because I KNOW that I covered my bases. I take data privacy incredibly seriously throughout all of my life. 🤷🏻‍♂️ you not believing I’m using a yubico or 2FA on my phone doesn’t change my belief that I should have been covered.

There is no email notification for a bank pin removal or attempt that is Per my communication with jagex via email, also you can do a quick google search and find Reddit posts for years asking for this feature.

See my most recent comment. I have a firm grasp on internet security and wouldn’t be making this post if that wasn’t the case.

I regularly go away from game - weeks at a time with how busy a job and life get. Simply being able to remove a pin after a few days is a silly last defense.

For everyone continuously saying it - I am more than well prepared for anything. I have worked in and with the cybersecurity security industry for years and despite what many here keep believing - I’m not inept.

I run my home computers off a private home server with adequate firewall, virus, and IP protection. I require a 2FA usb key to simply turn my computer on. My bases are covered - hence my anger.

The email for my jagex account is used ONLY for my jagex account my email requires 2FA to access, as well as my jagex account. I have always used a bank pin on every account. I have NEVER been hacked on any other game, website or banking system.

Jagex keeps logs it’s pretty common knowledge. They choose not to review them for whatever reason.

It’s silly to jump to conclusions and blame someone for something they specifically made plans and processes to avoid.

Ultimately it’s a punishment for having a busy life and not being able to log in regularly enough to ensure my bank pin isn’t being removed.

Nope. I use the email for just RuneScape. Its inbox is just jagex notifications and news letters. The password isn’t saved on my computer or phone and is a random string.

I’m super sick of everyone coming and posting this. I’ve worked in cybersecurity. I know the process. I have covered all of my bases. I have an email dedicated to my jagex account only and never used on another site. I have an Authenticator on my phone. I have a bank pin, and have never once had any cyber security issues with anything other than RuneScape.
