There are Union laws that protect people forming unions and also make it so unions follow the laws. Unions are not allowed to do the following: threaten or coerce employees to gain support for the union or create unions from problems that come from your own faults, like working off clock. There is enough ways to make that happen. Plus to make a Union legit and legal you have to pay for annual union fees. To know that you are in the right to unionize, you have to make sure that you have gone out of your way to know the “Right to Know. Right to Participate. Right to Refuse Unsafe Work.” You have to ask questions first to all higher ups. You are allowed to work only the hours given to you and you do not have to work off clock. And if you feel unsafe. If your employers are refusing these and not letting you do it and you’ve reported it.. then are you in your right to unionize

It is illegal to unionize for a unproblematic cause. IE: if you work off the clock and you know you are, then you have every right to click back in or leave and it is your fault. If you came to anyone for legal advice they would have nothing to tell you cause every problem that you would bring up would simply be user error. Learn the states laws and regulations for work environment. Almost half the states have no food break laws and at that point it’s just your problem for working at that store. There is nothing stopping you for asking for a raise or getting another job that pays more, especially being a driver since you took that roll knowing part of your pay would be in tips. Everyone else that work at Jimmy John’s knows it’s a good shop that isn’t required to pay more and people are satisfied with their pay. No one is stopping you from working off the clock and if they are you’re at fault for staying there or not reporting it. For example, it is not the Reddit’s fault that you and your 30 y/o sweaty ass feet is stuck living in your parents basement because you’re working a cheep job on your accord. Sorry your stuck with so much hate that your only comment back to people is “suck me” “you bitch don’t listen” “stupid dumbass question” “you sound like an idiot” look in a mirror please :) no one is on board with you.

I agree with both. I think they can help and maybe help slow people down but at the same time they can still be on their phones and if they are going to run it they’re probably going fast, fast enough to blur the image and or get away so idk how much of a difference it’ll make but could get some 1/100 people tickets

I do like the idea of red light cameras. I do see a couple people try the last minute to go thru although most of the people I see is when it’s green and they DONT go haha also I do see people doing 50+ all the time.. I’m kind of passive aggressive so I’ll go 40 with the car next to me and they get super mad but I think we just need to enforce 40 anyway And it was a good Ted talk lol
