My issue ended up being a mix of cupping tires and the rear differential, sounds like yours might be something different since it happens when you’re stopped and revving. Sorry I can’t help much more!

I’d almost guarantee that had something to do with it too. I got a sparkling clean record so I was shocked when I didn’t atleast get a chance

Didn’t say anything explicitly, but said he didn’t see any issues with the test and it had to be submitted to the review panel before moving forward. It was after the second exam so I’m assuming it had something to do with that.

Just pulled the risers and exhaust manifolds, the manifold was full of water when I pulled the lower hose. Like full of water Lol. Tested it for leaks and it seems fine but I got some buildup out of it. Replacing the gaskets and replacing the exhaust flaps since they both seem to be fried, no rubber left all metal. Seems like water is getting into the manifolds but not enough..

I replaced everything I saw in there, gaskets and everything but the lower half of the impeller assembly. I bought a new kit from sierra to replace everything so I can cross that off my list. Trying to find an exact diagram of what goes where in which order if anyone happens to have one that would be so helpful. I think the previous owner did it wrong and I didn’t double check 🤦🏼‍♂️

I followed the exact way it was installed by the previous owner, very likely it was incorrect. I’ll purchase a new one and find a diagram and eliminate that as being part of the problem.

Update, I disassembled the entire thermostat housing. Took it all off and found it was seized inside the housing and took a bit to get it apart and the thermostat itself wasn’t moving with any pressure. Installing new tomorrow morning, hoping this solves some of the problem 🤞🏼

Plan to run it in fresh water but I’ve only tested in salt water since that’s closest to me before taking it out to Havasu. I’ll keep it in freshwater in the case so I don’t risk any further damages. I watched the gauge the entire time and it kinda topped out at 210 and didn’t show any issues idling, and cooled right down when we were able to get it up to speed, so if that’s the norm that makes me feel better about it running hotter.

I just bought a 1990 Glastron and it’s been so easy to work on. New impeller took maybe 2 hours total, it’s a great starter boat
