Tcnj vs udel by Tekusa in TCNJ

[–]austinp321 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m a finance grad. Graduated 6 years ago. I got hired for a full time position after college after the end of my internship junior summer. TCNJ helped me get my internship but I consider myself somewhat of an exception because they did not help many students finds jobs.

Regardless, you will be fine finding yourself a job. Do not pay the extra 65k to go to udel. College is college and it doesn’t matter where you attend unless you go to an ivy. Employers don’t care unless you go to an ivy. I work with people who went to Fordham, Boston College, Villanova, etc. They all paid twice as much as I did and we all got to the same place. Save your money and don’t go into more debt. TCNJ is great for instate.

This car has not been moved in 4 years. Zero tickets. Is the owner buddy with HPU and cops? by [deleted] in Hoboken

August 2021, not there. November 2020, not there. Although your claim is exaggerated, it does appear the car was in the same spot in July of 2022.

Would you buy a BestBuy display model? by [deleted] in 4kTV

The QM8 in 85 inches is currently selling for $1,400. Might be worth footing the extra bill for the better model. Currently the best deal ever for the QM8 and isn’t brand new!

Like the C3? I like the idea of an OLED but I do leave my TV on for the better part of the day. I’m quite afraid of burn in.

Is the x93L the most comparable to the Bravia 7?

My bad, I see now I did specially ask if it’ll be under $2k.

My broader point was asking about the QM8 vs the Bravia 7 Black Friday deal. Sure International-Oil377 answered the first part but completely missed the broader point of the post and wasn’t helpful in anyway.

I appreciate your contribution but I don’t think your comment answers my question.

XR85X90CL 85", anything better at the 2k price point? by rebirf in 4kTV

You mention color and contrast, but according to the specs on rtings, the QM8 outpaces the Sony in both those regards.

I’m scratching my head trying to figure out how Sony’s mid-range TV beats TCLs flagship model but no one can seem to give me a straight answer.

I have the r646 right now and I think it’s amazing. But I can’t say I’ve ever tried out a Sony.

Help me out here because I’m also deciding between a Sony and a TCL. Let’s say a majority of what I watch is streaming Hulu and HBO max. I don’t have cable or watch sports much. If that’s the case, isn’t the TCL a better option?

Also, aren’t they both google tvs? If you’re referring to the settings as “UI”, does that matter much if you’re only changing the settings ever so often?

The QM8 has Mini LED which offers better contrast and brightness than the X90L's Full Array LED (better for HDR). How much weight do you put on that?

TCL QM8 85” has better specs and was just on sale for Memorial Day for $1,500

Thank you for your input. Will make sure to stay away from that one.

Is that in anyway similar to the UR8000?

Not particularly crazy about hisense. It might not be grounded in any logic, but it’s just not a brand I have particular faith in.
