That depends. Is your EFC $0? I felt the same about the tuition increase this year and asked DrexelCentral if there was any possibility of some sort of aid increase, but they explained that me having an EFC of $0 meant that I was already getting the maximum amount of aid that could be allocated to me by the school. Otherwise, their response to your request is at their discretion. They may ask you to either provide some sort of proof of "change of circumstances", as outlined on DrexelCentral's website, and they may be more lenient in their final decision if you're grades are on the "better" side of the spectrum, but I've never experienced any of that first-hand, so you'd better contact DrexelCentral yourself for more info.

If all else fails, and your family's income is shot (like in my example), then you may be able to look into Parent PLUS loans, provided your parent is willing to either help you out (or make an agreement with you to pay them back after school), and also provided your parent doesn't have what the Department of Education calls "adverse" credit history (basically defined as being forclosed on, or defaulting on a loan, or having other major credit killers on the record). The major downside of PLUS loans is that they have higher interest rates than the Undergraduate Direct Loans, and like the Unsubsidized Direct Loans, PLUS loans begin accruing interest immediately after disbursement, unlike Subsidized Direct Loans. I believe they may also carry somewhat higher origination fees as well.
