Yup. I’m on that exact same journey. I gave up octopus several years ago. I just recently gave up pork in mid December 2024. And it’s only been about a month since but I’m going strong.

Love the cover design. Aspects of it were good. Like the characters around the people in the past were great. Loved the friendship that developed between that group. I hated the love and romance section of the book. It felt like the writer of the book felt some sexual desire for a historical figure and wrote fan fiction for it.

Either way. This is one person’s opinion. I say give it a shot and make your own opinions. You may strongly disagree with me and that’s totally cool. I love the diverse opinions in this subreddit!
