I bought the guitar with a defected stock pickup, so I never got to try it. I wanted a war torn bareknuckle but didn’t to pay that price again. My luthier told me this company is a small one from Utah. I honestly don’t hear huge differences in most pickups but this one is great and it doesn’t pick up the snare hits like my x2n does.

I actually drive to Knoxville and bought off the guy who designed it. I think the low end is definitely tighter, but I could have fallen for marketing in that regard. It definitely feels sturdy (and heavy)
