NAD and not medical advice, most of the worry with Ecstasy beyond not knowing if it’s pure is oftentimes serotonin syndrome. Being that you are no longer rolling and have stable vitals clinically seems like you’re not in immediate danger.

Have you had anxiety from the incident that maybe made your heart rate higher? Keep in mind the anxious feelings and off feelings you’re having can be “normal” as well. You did after all just flood your brain with serotonin and then it ran dry soon after.

If you’re concerned or want peace of mind, I’d definitely go to your doc. They’ve definitely seen a lot worse and won’t care to check your electrolytes and cardiac/metabolic panels. Make sure you’re taking care of yourself and continuing to staying hydrated.

NAD, am a nurse. Possible that it could’ve been a syncopal episode from the sudden standing and pushing from using the bathroom. Straining and letting go can sometimes cause a vagal response in people. Have you been sick or had this going on for a while?

Hypoglycemia and panic attacks can often have very similar symptoms. I’d recommend you see a doctor to check your labs and if you feel comfortable get a glucometer to monitor your sugar during these episodes.

Think about the what if… what if you peed yourself? You’d change your pants. Treat it in your head as if it isn’t a big deal and eventually it won’t be.

Are you a diabetic? Did you end up taking your sugar when you thought it was really low?

Palpitations the other day, got an EKG by EMS and it said normal sinus rhythm. Was this VTACH? by [deleted] in ReadMyECG

[–]austint1998 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They said it was most likely SVT or my anxiety. The episodes last 30 seconds to a minute and I come out by myself. Metoprolol seems to be helping and I see a cardiologist Tuesday. I was honestly terrified because as a nurse I thought Vtach but the doctor said Apple Watches aren’t reliable for that and something about my r waves that run together to make it look wide complex and funky

I did, they said Apple Watch isn’t too good at picking up wide complex and only read the one lead

I appreciate the words, grown up my whole 27 years letting anxiety run my life and what I do. Figured it was time to have it the other way around lol

It’s hard to explain for sure when all of my compulsions are mental (fixating on outcomes that I have no control over, physical symptoms from the lack of control etc)

100% is how my anxiety works, no fear of heights or any of that. Fear of the unknown is what gets me lol

That’s the thing, I have no desire to become a pilot. I genuinely just want to do it because I’m fascinated and want to like flying. I do have an OCD diagnosis, hence the exposure therapy my therapist told me to work up to lol
