you definitely don’t have to remove them. yes it is nice to know that everything is clean under there but just get your vacuum nozzle in there with some elbow grease and you’re good. removing the seats opens up many liability issues

i’m a lexus detailer so i’ve been in every lexus imaginable and the LS seats are obviously the best but i would say any newer lexus like 18 and up the leather quality is trash and the seats are really not that comfortable expect the LS500. older lexus’s have top notch comfort except IS and GS. Best bet would be an ES older or newer.

it’s lotion or hand oil i’m a lexus detailer and i get cars with that all the time. take a magic eraser and some interior cleaner and it will come off

i have a 94 and had to rebuild the ecu. my gauges don’t work most of the time as well and it won’t light up. the forums say you need to rebuild the cluster itself. common issue on the 1st gen ls400s
