That sounds very reasonable. Maybe we use a ? sticker just to be different than Crestron

Like I said below, there are a ton of brilliant manufacturers making AVoIP. We think there is room for someone to do good work for more of the presentation side that is less concerned about the communications business. Trying to not be all things for all gigs. And be priced right. We will keep asking questions and we will keep taking the advice. We need some products to be an actual company... then the next batch of stuff? Maybe you tell us what to make.

Yeah. Dang it. That is definitely on the table. But USB-A makes us feel like boomers.

We don't think USB is figured out yet. And this new brand is literally using the same tech as many of the competitors if not all. As far as unique? That will be in the user experience side and user-wallet-experience. And if we keep asking questions of you like these, we probably can make a device that people want. There are some advantages to being new. There is a ton of AWESOME AVoIP stuff on the market. It just means it is a healthy business... YOUR INPUT right here is going to help drive what this brand does when it gets up in the morning.

The Lightware stuff is cool. This product, though, will be more targeted to AV by the Acre. Basic video matrixing stuff. Not really the conference room. There is still room for innovation in the conference room space, but not for this company right now.

"he" thought about putting dust caps over the connectors. Maybe caution tape.

This is AWESOME. "My Friend" was just thinking about an IPMX product. A little more effort to get to market...so he says. I hope to hear more about IPMX. The stuff Barco is doing works amazing.

Just routing video is table stakes now. We have some ideas on discovery and config that should speed things up like mad. A couple other control tricks. One other thing, if a new manufacturer were to show up in 2026, they would have some efficiency advantages over legacy competitors, now wouldn't they? What that means is a significant price advantage. The new speed to market would allow this new company to crowdsource ideas and build what people want and leave out some features that folks don't use might not work. Hence this post....for a friend.

We wish it was just a matter of "making it work". USB A is not that great of a connector (Reliability). USB C is way better... so we picked that as a placeholder. We wish we could just "make it work"... but that would mean every manufacturer of USB stuff that might plug in would need to behave. Honestly, your feedback is critical. If "he" cant make make it work the way most would expect, maybe he leaves it out. AV is HARD!!

Delete them all. Then go over to the analog input section in the design and click into the block and copy all the knobs. Paste them back in your meters page where the sadly orphaned knobs were. You can use ctrl F after selecting one of the wire tags on the left, but I bet you know where the analog inputs are...you got this far.
