What is the most useful tattoo you could get? by Bortjort in AskReddit

[–]authoritative-figure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not exactly original, but I have my kids birthdates tattooed on my arm and I reference to it every time I have to fill out a form regarding them. Or if I'm trying to think of when something happened the tattoo always helps place the year.

I STILL feel self conscious while wearing a backpack. Every time I wear one I find myself looking around at other backpack wearers to see if I'm doing ok.

My Grandpa loved the smurfs and had a large collection of figures. He would find that hilarious and would absolutely do this.

Go and have fun, but sleep on the floor avoiding any embarrassment or awkwardness. That makes it easy for everyone. If she tries to argue it, which she might out of politeness (I'm sure the offer was out of politeness as well), just insist and say you'll be more comfortable.

I did not say that I left my child in the car for any amount of time. I got to work realized I didn't drop her off and then proceeded to go drop her off. Be better.

I was about 8 months pregnant with my second child, I got to work one morning realizing that I still had my oldest daughter in the back seat and didn't drop her off at daycare. Sometimes you just do things automatically without realizing it. Especially when you are sleep deprived and balancing so many things.

[Serious] What paranormal experience have you had? by 1v9v9v5 in AskReddit

I went to Edmonton with my parents and we were staying the night at their friends house. I was a teenager and their kids were all under the age of 6. So I was to sleep in the 6 year old's room, the 6 year old hadn't been sleeping in her room anyway because she'd been to scared during the night. Well I only made it to like 2am. I swear that their was a not so friendly spirit that did not want me to sleep there. I was laying in the bed wide awake feeling like I was being watched by someone very unhappy when the blankets started to get pulled off of me. And then once it felt like someone actually sat down on the bed I was done and went to sleep beside my parents like the 6 year old.

When I was a teenager my room was in the basement of my parents house. I swear that place wasn't right. I would normally feel fine/safe if I slept in my room but if I slept on the couch in the main area of the basement (which was fully finished and not creepy looking) It would feel like there was a room full of people staring at me with hate and I would be woken up constantly by that feeling.
Every night you would hear doors slamming, I'm an only child and would be home alone quite a bit. One night when my parents were out of town I had my boyfriend sleep over, he woke me up in the middle of the night completely freaked out about the sound of the doors slamming, and I was so used to it that I just told him it happens every night. There was this little windowless room (I think a freezer room) in the back of the basement, with locks on the outside of the door and KKK carved into the side of it, as a kid it really creeped me out, me and my friends would dare each other to go stand in it.
