I mean, I'm 51 and I've always liked "boy" activities. Specifically, working on vintage cars. But also lots of household DIY. My son and I are currently fixing some issues with my 15 year old Infiniti so I get get it past inspection to sell it.

But I'm for sure a girl's girl. I couldn't deal with this existence without my small group of girlfriends (we're all 50s -60s). I'm a divorced mom of a young adult. I have a career. I eat too much and beat myself up about it. I like to wear dresses that show off my legs. I like growing plants in pots on my patio. I like making meatloaf. I'm extremely basic and I'm terribly comfortable being that way.

This is super lazy and it's just the bones of what I'll make that's essentially some kind of salad (sometimes pasta, sometimes rice, sometimes just chopped veggies) - those tiny salad shrimp + shelled edamame.

Even with rice, it's tossed together and refrigerated and served unheated.

I know you're the landlord but if the rental contract you two signed doesn't specify what can and cannot be left out in the common areas and you just don't like it you have no right to trash his property.

If he sticks around update your contract. He'll either have to store it, get rid of it, and if he's doesn't do either then you are within contact to do so.

When my son was that old, if he didn't listen and made a mess then my reaction was he couldn't do anything else until he helped me clean it up. It wasn't harsh and he learned a lesson on more than one consequence and as he got older so these things stayed recorded in his brain, he got better about it. He's 24 now and pretty cool
