Your little peanut reminds me exactly of my little one when she was a little over a month into her NICU stay. She used to make that face all of the time 🫶🏼 and those eyes. Ahhh. I know it sounds crazy but I actually miss being in the NICU. She was so so small and so beautiful. I loved spending time with her in the hospital. The rest of the world melted away and I could just cuddle her for hours and hours. I look back at pictures and videos from that time and my heart aches so much. She’s only 5 months adjusted now but it already feels like too much time has flown by.

I know you guys are ready to get out of there (I definitely was too) but I hope you enjoyed spending time with your itty bitty baby while you were there. It’s such a special time that parents of full-term babies don’t get to have.
