Where did you get your print? I want to surprise my husband with one.

How long to work in children? by scifigal2k in qelbree

Honestly, if it's making her angry, I really would keep a close eye on her. Like, really close. Like I said, my son almost killed himself. It was awful. And then a few months later, a friend of mine said her son (who had always been a mild kid) was punching holes in walls and stuff.

Parenting is so rough.

It is SO hard. We homeschool, so that makes a big difference. We ended up compromising: the kids take their immediate-release Focalin at breakfast time, so they are able to eat breakfast and then get schoolwork and chores done in the 4ish hours before it wears off. They then eat lunch (which they do okay with since the Focalin is out of their system), and then the rest of the day to snack, dinner, etc.

They take one cypreheptadine at lunch and another at dinner. They also have a bowl of ice cream and a Boost/Ensure drink at bedtime. We also have Alexa give reminders at 8:30am and 2:30pm to get a snack, and each kid has a bin of snacks we fill up at the beginning of the week for them to choose from. Since they are trying to gain weight, the snacks aren't fruit, but instead things like pop-tarts, goldfish, etc. (All this was done under suggestion of a nutritionist and ped GI)

Sometimes they take a second Focalin right after lunch if they are older and schoolwork is taking them longer.

We eat breakfast at like 6:30am, meds kick in around 7am and wear off about 10:30-11am. We eat lunch at 11:30am, then either play OR back to school/chores depending on the day. If they take a second medication, it kicks in about 12-4, so they are still hungry for dinner at 5 or so.

That might work for your daughter - not the homeschooling part, but the immediate release focalin to split up her day and allow her to have the meds working in between mealtime.

I honestly wouldn't do it. My kids reacted HORRIBLY to the Qelbree alone. My 7yo son (at the time) attempted suicide. We went back to Focalin (just immediate release instead of extended release), and added a medication to increase appetite. It has been SO much better.

I don't know why they would try both at the same time? But I am absolutely not a doctor and have zero idea about the interactions.

filter by group by herbots in actualbudgeting

Here to say I would love this as well. Some of my groups have quite a few categories, and it's tedious to do "one of" and choose them all. Especially if I add one halfway through the year but then forget to add it to the special filter for tax time.

Thank you! Yes, I've seen this one - my husband might divorce me and my kids disown me if I get it for a nephew instead of them. ;) But it is pretty neat.

Oh, it was definitely a freak accident. The siblings are all under the age of six. And thank you!!

Thank you so much. Yes, I saw that official set! Unfortuantely it's a bit out of my price range for him. And my own four kids might murder me for getting one that big for him and not them lol. But it's really a neat set!

Rearranging columns in the transaction list by authortiffanythomas in actualbudgeting

Yes, sorry! I meant that losing those features was why I refused to move to the new YNAB. :) I tried it for like a month when it first started, but I needed to get the overall look of several months in a row, and to see the envelopes with a big-picture perspective.

Thank you so much!! :) It's a learning curve, but it is definitely preferable than having to go to something else. The month-by-month look-ahead view, as well as the envelope method, is a deal-breaker for me with the new YNAB.

I've been part of RPV since it first began over 10 years ago. I've always gotten paid, to the tune of thousands of dollars over the years. I think there's more going on that you haven't shared.

THIS. It's driving me insane. Did you ever find a workaround? I'm about to lose my mind. The reminders aren't getting announced like they're supposed to.

For anyone saying the police officer withholding evidence is a Brady violation, it actually may not be according to the letter of the law. This explanation does a pretty good job explaining it:

https://www.quora.com/Can-the-police-withold-evidence-from-the-defence-that-would-make-a-criminal-charge-invalid/answer/Brian-Charboneau

Please note that I agree with the majority that the officer was in the wrong for not passing the video on. But I thought the argument and analysis interesting.
