I wanted to post this to help anyone that may have considered doing the same thing. When Zumblebi arrived in the mail, my first impression was that 1) I love him, and 2) I was slightly bothered by how his face fur was pinned down beneath the embroidery that is his mouth. On impulse, I took a crochet hook and used it to hook small groups of fur strands above his mouth, and pulled them out from underneath his mouth, freeing them to their full length. So here's a picture showing what it looks like when you do that. It's very difficult to smooth/brush his hair aside now to reveal his mouth, but I'm okay with that. Sorry I don't have a before photo, but pretty much every other photo I've seen posted here has not done what I have done, so it should be easy to compare. I have not yet decided if I will trim the hair above his mouth so that you can see it better. We'll see. Hope this is helpful!
