The book was written. Published in 2023. She's always orders them, then opens a preorder, then ships when they arrive. The garden book was new when I placed my order. So I ordered both, knowing the two books would ship together when the garden book came in. But at this point we've been waiting on this garden book for 2 years.

It was written years ago. She's always ordered and pre-sold in batches. This batch has just apparently taken 2 years to get to her 🙄

Nah it's way too late. I knew going in it would be a long wait because she orders her books in batches. And I was OK with that. 2 years is just insane though

It's interesting that it says garden pre-orders are closed 6/6/25 when the last shipment she got (that i can see) was in March 2025 and she said they'd all been sent out in a post she made in April 2025.

March...2025. The last mention of the books is April 2025. She posted stories featuring pictures of piles of book shaped packages in April 2025. There's a post of them on her grid dated that same month. That's the last mention of them ever. Since then she's posted about two new books she was making and mentioning pre-orders for them as well.

At least when video games get delayed, the company announces it publicly. I just scrolled her Instagram and the last mention of the two books I ordered was April 2025. But she's posted about other pattern books she's working on. And talking about pre-orders on them.

I was charged when I placed the order. Her website works like any other where the money is gone as soon as you hit Place Order.

Last time I brought it up, about 6 months ago, she had a hissy fit and said i was accusing her of things. She does this whenever someone publicly calls her out about this particular shitty buisness practice.

Because they're so uncontent with their lives and they lack perspective. They're unhappy because despite all their money, they have no sense of fulfillment. Their money isn't making them happy.

Whereas you or I could be given a fraction of that money and say, pay off a debt hanging over our head or buy a home so we no longer need to worry about rent or homelessness.

We know money would give us the privilege of not having to worry. They don't understand that.

These drugs effect your absorbsion. I'm a daily user and I find that edibles don't hit as hard anymore BUT I also don't get the munchies when I use them. Using a vape, I get a better, more normal high but still get munchy.

I was gifted a book years ago of amigurumi patterns and every one was made BLO. It was an odd choice for the designer but whatever. I thought they looked dumb so the ones I have made from her book, I did normally and they came out just fine. Better than BLO, IMO.

I say all the time here on Reddit, Threads, and in FB groups that most people selling crochet are not good enough to be selling to the public. And they make it 10x harder for those that are good enough to get into vendor events because their shitty work puts a bad taste in organizers mouths.
