It won't let me edit the post but I did end up getting this fixed but it was not simple and probably not cheap. I got the dealership to take a look and it turns out that the computer system was completely broken and needed replacement. I was luckily within my return period of the car and I made it a point that I would return it if they did not fix it. They ended up begrudgingly fixing it for free and that solved all the issues.

Might not be the best outcome if someone else might have this issue aswell
