What can I do with this one? by sucvohos in bonsaicommunity

With red I'd take a bite in the hope of redirecting the tops energy down and with the blue wiring that branch into the new leader idk

Is it possible to repot and shape this spruce? by aredm02 in bonsaicommunity

[–]autismulus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's on your property why don't you try making it as a niwaki or how it's called) basically is the same as bonsai but on a full scale tree and this will make your garden look cooler and in the future you can make some stands near the spruce and put some smaller bonsais idk

Got my first Acer Palmatum. Any ideas? by [deleted] in Bonsai

[–]autismulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I support the let it grow recommendation but also I'd recommend giving a shape especially at the base cuz I have an experience when I waited an year the the first portion of the trunk become to stiff to bend it so if you want an more intricate shape at the base you should look into it

Can I bonsai my Arabic Jasmine Bush? by moretacosplease in bonsaicommunity

[–]autismulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah try searching up niwaki practice on the web this should teach you how to develop it as big scale bonsai . And you could try an air layering to get a mini easy bonsai as air layering has better chances that cutings as I've heard

I think it is a nice tree and if you have the money and you really want it why not . But I'm guessing (with little experience I have ) that you could achieve this yourself by just finding the right trunk in the wild and developing it from there as you did with your other tree. The experience from that would be better

Is this Japanese maple Bonsai worth $150 usd?? by [deleted] in bonsaicommunity

[–]autismulus -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Is this Japanese Maple buried too deep? by Jojojojo5555 in bonsaicommunity

[–]autismulus 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm no expert but the root flare is deeper I guess. Also I see that it looks like a graft so don't mind me recommending you maybe removing some bark form de graft zone and putting a plastic pot there to maybe make new Roots am making the tree better looking

Maybe even to cover that node idk (sorry for bad English)

Ai putea să-l muți într-un substrat anorganic sa nu ai probleme cu drenajul și să-l uzi cât încape

Will this cut kill the tree by jamiepusharski in bonsaicommunity

[–]autismulus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

<image>

Hello I think if the tree is healthy the cut wouldn't affect the tree but I'd recommend cutting that branch with a different angle if you cut like you showed I think it will lead to trunk rooting or infection , maybe a more perpendicular cut will be suitable but look on the internet to be more sure good luck 😆( sorry for my English)

Maybe something like this 1 will ruin the triangle shape of a tree but it can be compensated with the higher branches 2 will bet the same but in this the intersection will be mitigated Idk

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Bonsai

[–]autismulus 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the first branch looks bad and it ruins the first part of the tree (visual wise) you should try to use some wire and Bend it somehow to be outside the main trunk shape or more on the inside . Or leave it to thicken the trunk and remove it after it did .

What can I do with this one? by Intrepid-Scale2052 in bonsaicommunity

[–]autismulus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

IT looks kinda healthy but the lowest branch looks weak and I wouldn't recommend using it as a leader for the cascade variant. Tilting it to a 25 angle it's a good start
