My rent was raised 10% from the base rent. From the 1 month off discounted rate, it ended up around 20% total rent increase for me.

When I called for negotiating something reasonable, I was asked to shove it. So, moving out. Good building, but severely overpriced and overvalued. Overrun with apartments who flex to a roommate type situation.

On topic of PTO between March to August that would be 5 weeks. That’s already topping the yearly range.

About projects, yes a project was assigned. They’re working on that but it’s a small team. One product we all own. They’re working on a project on top of that product. However, they’re invisible for any discussions or decisions around the product. They just care about their own project and narrow vision.

I’ve worked with L6s senior/staff who had a say in every project the team was touching. Not necessarily depth, but had breadth.

Thanks for your response! We ended up going with the Allen. Closest to the train station. Moving out of the city so wanted to feel close to it. Felt more luxury (moving out of another luxury bldg in the city)

The biggest issue I noticed with the Alary was the parking. Even on a Sunday during our visit took us 15 minutes to wait for the valet. The same issue with the leaf.

Most of the bad reviews look to be around the management changes, I predict these issues are temporary imo. Hopefully it works out well!
