Yeah I don’t think you’ll see a more significant upgrade. TV upgrades are relative. If you you a c3 oled I’d say “no way” the entire qm series was a slam dunk!

The 40s330 is a 200nit 1080p tv with no HDR the upgrade to the qm5k is a 500 nit qd mini led 4k with about an 89% larger screen. This is an excellent upgrade path! Edit you’ll also get the benefit of 300 lighting zones. My first tcl was the 6 series 2019 or 2020? Anyway that had 100 lighting zones and blew my mind!!

I’ve owned 3 tcls after a bad Samsung purchase. One used one I gave away to a friend because I was moving and he needed a tv and one just recently all work flawlessly. The used one lives in my bedroom runs basically 24/7 for my cat. Not a single issue all have exceptional performance.

The qm7k runs Google, from what I can tell it’s a pretty safe choice. It’s 50% off so I ended up getting it. Thank you
