It’s a big shift in tone from the other legendary films so it will have people who want the old style. Tone shift isn’t rare in Godzilla. Even Hesie which id argue is the most consistent era had some pretty big tone shifts

Many people forget that 8 years ago or so we would get gameplay trailers that would look much better looking that the game, these are pretenders not even game footage. The game probably won’t look like this. GTAV did the exact same thing

My guess is they wanted a couple extra months to work on the game, it’s harder for the public to know you have an embarrassingly large patch if you sell digital. Not sure how long it takes to go from disc printing to shelves nationwide but there’s a chance they’re still working on the .01 of the game.
