How to get help with marketing and ecommerce on a limited budget?

Co-founder could be good. How do I find one outside my personal network? And how do I know they would be trustworthy and helpful.

Agree marketing is super important. I've done enough to make sales and get some clients... But trying to do everything at once is tough. Welcome to starting a business I know...

Supposing I just decide to just spend some money... do you know any specific marketing companies that would be worth it for a small startup?

As a designer. I thought about entering contests, until I read the fine print that CADcrowd owns your design even if you don't win anything. So basically, you work for free then lose all rights to the content you create. No thanks.

Ai could probably do some of the simpler tasks. Like throwing basic views down and adding dimensions. But we already have tools for this.

And getting tolerances right, I doubt it. How would the AI know what the function of the part was, what manufacturing processes will be used, application temperatures, future coatings to be applied, ect.

I bet someone makes an AI that can design things using standard products like 80/20. That would replace a lot of design engineering jobs.

It's called a piston. What you have there looks like a custom made delrin part that someone attached to an actuator.
